7 and 7 equals a smooth jazz hit

Jazz guitarist Paul Brown.
Double Grammy winner Paul Brown.

Two-time Grammy winner, Paul Brown, can put his name to more than 60 number one radio hits – as either an artist or producer.

Brown has produced and shared the stage with a who’s-who of jazz greats including George Benson, Patti Austin, Boney James, Norman Brown, and Peter White.

With the 2022 album Promised Land, Brown demonstrates his prodigious creativity with every track. The album kicks off with the spirited Secret Sauce – a surefire contemporary jazz topper, and delivers with Don’t Stop. His latest single release from the album – 7 And 7 – featuring saxman Euge Groove doesn’t disappoint.

Brown is enjoying a stellar career with not only two Grammy’s to his name, but during 30 years in the music industry has racked up 75 hits and 12 albums.

The Los Angeles born and raised guitarist’s R&B driven sound has been a foundational element in smooth and urban jazz since the early 1990s, when he produced saxophonist Boney James’ breakout debut Trust. He has since worked with many of the genre’s most influential artists including Larry Carlton, Dave Koz & Friends, Euge Groove, Rick Braun, Kirk Whalum, Jeff Golub, and Al Jarreau.
